Leonie da Sa

Leonie Sa

Pilates Instructor

Pilates came into Leonie’s life when she was working as a Physiotherapist in Brazil in 2008. She wanted to do more than treat her patients and send them home afterwards, she wanted her clients to commit to their physical rehab therapy, understanding the importance of following a conditioning program so the chances of re-injuring themselves would drop considerably. She wanted them to be pain free, happy and confident in their bodies again.

The search led Leonie to Pilates in 2011, she undertook a comprehensive Pilates certification in Brazil. She started to apply the methodology in my patients’ routine of treatment and noticed significantly results on enhancing spinal stability, muscular flexibility, balance control amongst others benefits.

In 2015 Leonie came to New Zealand and fell in love with this beautiful country, its landscapes and welcoming people. She was fortunate enough to keep working in the Pilates field and completed further training with Stott Pilates and Stability Plus certifications in New Zealand.

“Pilates is my life and I love it!”  She hopes her clients have fun and enjoy the classes as much as she does.
